Karen Minster is not only an excellent designer, but also an advisor and mentor. She helped me put together my first book, The Story of the Blockchain, and I could not have done it without her. She was able to pick up on my intended look and deliver design proposals that I was very pleased with. She also suggested certain additional elements that I never would have thought of, but in retrospect have become an important part of my book’s identity.

 

Aside from coming up with a beautiful design and executing it flawlessly, Karen was also invaluable in the guidance she provided throughout the process. This was my first book, and I was initially intimidated by my lack of knowledge about the process. Karen provided helpful pointers from our first phone conversation and helped me make important decisions along the way. She also introduced me to my illustrator and cover designer, both of whom were excellent. I have already referred her to several friends and look forward to working with her again myself in the future.
